POLICE VEHICLE IMPOUNDS
Finding and Retrieving an Impounded Vehicle in Ontario
When police arrange for a vehicle to be towed or impounded, the release process depends on the police service, the reason for the impoundment and the facility holding the vehicle. Before attending, confirm the vehicle’s location, required identification, release documents, fees and current hours directly with the police service or towing provider.
